Accessibility

A shared street belongs to everyone on it

Accessibility is two things for a mobility company: an app people can actually use, and a street our vehicles do not obstruct. We take both seriously.

App & website

What we build in

  • Arabic and English throughout, with the entire interface mirrored for right-to-left reading — not just translated text.
  • Text contrast and target sizes chosen for use outdoors, in daylight, with one hand.
  • Labels on every control so screen readers announce what a button does, not just that it exists.
  • Interface text scales with the device font-size setting instead of being locked to one size.
  • No essential information carried by colour alone.

On the street

Keeping pavements clear

  • Parking areas are chosen and marked so vehicles do not block pavements, ramps, crossings or entrances.
  • A ride cannot be ended outside a permitted area without going to review.
  • Anyone — rider or not — can report a badly parked vehicle by its fleet number, and it is moved.
  • Pavement obstruction reports are treated as a safety matter, not a complaint.

Tell us

If something is not usable, that is a fault

If any part of the app, this website or a parking location is difficult or impossible for you to use, report it as you would a broken vehicle. We treat accessibility problems as defects with owners and deadlines, not as suggestions.

Be first to ride

The SYIBE app is being prepared for release. Leave your details and we will tell you the day riding opens in your city.
