About SYIBE
Urban mobility technology company
The city should feel closer. Built for e-scooters first, designed to extend to e-bikes and other shared vehicle classes across additional cities and countries.
Who We Are
Who We Are
SYIBE is an urban mobility technology company. We design, operate and manage shared electric mobility as a connected system — vehicles, software, verification, payments, field operations and city coordination in one platform.
The company is being built from Damascus with an architecture that is city-agnostic from day one: every operating rule — pricing, verification requirements, zones, curfews, vehicle classes — is configuration, not code.
SYIBE is not a single product. It is a mobility operating platform: a rider application, an administrative control centre, a field operations application, a device and payment abstraction layer, and the operational discipline that keeps a fleet safe, parked correctly and available.
- Mobility technology company, not a rental application.
- Multi-vehicle by design: e-scooters, then e-bikes and beyond.
- Multi-city and multi-country configuration model.
- Vendor-neutral: verification, payment and hardware providers are replaceable.
Our Story
Our Story
SYIBE began with an ordinary urban observation: the hardest part of a city journey is rarely the long distance — it is the short one.
Between a home and a bus stop, a university gate and a lecture hall, an office and a client meeting, cities lose time. Those short distances are too long to walk comfortably and too short to justify a car.
SYIBE was designed backwards from that gap. Instead of starting with a vehicle, we started with the full chain a city actually requires: identity you can trust, payment that works locally, vehicles that can be located and immobilised, parking that respects the street, and an operations team that can reach any unit.
The platform, brand, product design and operating architecture were completed before the first commercial fleet — deliberately. A mobility company earns a city's permission through discipline, not enthusiasm.
Vision
Vision
Cities where every short journey is simple, safe and available to everyone — without a private car.
We want SYIBE to be the layer that makes urban distance feel smaller: one verified account, one map, one payment method, several vehicle types, and eventually several cities and countries.
- A journey layer, not a vehicle brand.
- Integrated with public transport rather than competing with it.
- Regionally credible, internationally structured.
Mission
Mission
To operate shared electric mobility that a city can rely on — verified riders, monitored vehicles, disciplined parking and transparent pricing.
Our mission is operational before it is commercial. Every ride must be traceable to a verified rider, every vehicle must be locatable, every parking event must be reviewable, and every charge must be explainable line by line.
Purpose
Our Purpose
The city should feel closer.
Mobility is access. When short distances become easy, more people reach work, study, healthcare, family and daily services without depending on a private vehicle. That is the outcome SYIBE exists to produce.
Core Values
Core Values
Five commitments that decide how we build, operate and behave in a city.
- Safety first — no growth target outranks rider or pedestrian safety.
- Respect for the street — correct parking is a product feature, not a request.
- Clarity — prices, rules and charges are stated before the ride, not after.
- Trust by verification — a real identity behind every account.
- Data minimisation — collect what a safe ride requires, and nothing beyond it.
Safety
Safety
Safety is enforced by the platform, not left to goodwill.
Safety in shared mobility is a chain: eligibility, vehicle condition, speed governance, zone rules, parking discipline and incident response. SYIBE treats each link as a product requirement with an owner in the system.
- Minimum age and eligibility enforced before the first unlock.
- Pre-ride checks: brakes, tyres, lights and visible damage.
- Speed reduction in designated slow zones and prohibition in no-ride zones.
- One rider per vehicle; no passengers, no pavement riding where prohibited.
- In-app incident reporting with escalation to field operations.
- Vehicles removed from service automatically after damage or incident flags.
Sustainability
Sustainability & City Responsibility
Shared electric mobility is only a benefit to a city if it is operated responsibly.
SYIBE makes no environmental performance claims before verified measurement. What we can commit to now is operational: electric vehicles, defined parking, battery lifecycle management, and public-space discipline.
- Electric fleet with monitored battery health and cycle tracking.
- Designated parking zones to keep pavements and entrances clear.
- Redeployment and repair before replacement; batteries handled through a defined lifecycle.
- Shared measurement with city partners rather than unverified public claims.
Cities
Cities & Service Areas
Damascus is the first operating city. The model is designed to be repeated.
Each city is defined by a configuration file, not a new product: service area, parking and no-ride zones, pricing plan, verification requirements, operating hours, vehicle classes and local rules.
[REGULATORY CONFIRMATION REQUIRED] Launch in any city remains subject to municipal permission, regulatory classification and insurance arrangements.
- Damascus — first city, service area and zones defined in the platform.
- Next cities — assessed on density, road conditions, permissions and payment infrastructure.
- Expansion vision — additional Syrian cities, then regional markets.

Bilal Almadani
SYIBE was founded by Bilal Almadani, an entrepreneur working at the intersection of urban life, mobility and technology.
He holds a background in Business Administration and a Master's degree in Marketing, with experience across entrepreneurship, brand development, digital ventures and international business.
His work in different markets has focused on developing technology-enabled business concepts and taking them from concept to operating model.
SYIBE follows that direction: a practical response to a daily urban problem — short distances — built as a scalable platform rather than a single-city service.
