The standing rules for promotional codes, ride credit, referral rewards and campaign participation: how credit behaves in the wallet, what invalidates a reward, and where campaign-specific values live. All amounts, thresholds and limits are configuration, not fixed terms.
Version 0.1-draft · v1 Working Draft — frozen
Version & effective date
No effective date while the status is working draft. On approval the version becomes 1.0, an effective date is set at least 14 days ahead for material rider-facing changes (immediate where a change is legally required or purely clarifying), and the previous version stays archived with its own effective window.
Jurisdiction & city applicability
These are the standing rules. Each campaign additionally has its own configured parameters, city scope and dates, published with the campaign; a campaign may run in one city only. Where local rules restrict prize promotions or referral incentives, the campaign configuration is adjusted for that city. [LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED]

Draft clauses
These terms govern every promotional code, welcome offer, ride credit, discount, referral reward and campaign SYIBE runs, and apply in addition to the Terms of Service and the Payment & Wallet Terms.
Campaign parameters are configurable, not fixed: the reward amount and currency, the eligibility conditions, any minimum spend or minimum completed-ride threshold, the maximum number of rewards per account and per period, the expiry period, and the cities and dates in which the campaign runs are all defined in the campaign configuration and shown to the rider before they take part. No such value is stated in this document. [COMMERCIAL DECISION REQUIRED]
Promotional credit is not money: it is a conditional right to a discount on SYIBE services. It has no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, transferred, sold or exchanged, is not refundable, and is held in the wallet ledger as a separate promotional balance distinct from any funds the rider has paid in.
Order of application: promotional balance is consumed before paid balance and before any charge to a payment method, unless the campaign configuration states otherwise; the receipt shows the promotional amount applied as a separate line.
Expiry: promotional credit expires at the end of the period set in the campaign configuration. The rider can see the expiry date in the wallet, is reminded before it passes, and expired credit is removed from the promotional balance with a ledger entry.
One promotion per ride unless the campaign expressly allows stacking, and one welcome offer per verified person — not per device, phone number or payment method.
Referral: a referrer shares a personal code; a reward becomes due only when the referred person completes the qualifying action set in the campaign configuration, typically identity verification plus a first completed and paid ride. Rewards are credited to both sides as configured, and pending rewards are shown as pending until they qualify.
Referral is personal and not a business: bulk distribution, paid advertising of a personal code, posting codes on coupon aggregators, or any commercial resale of referral codes is not permitted.
Abuse: SYIBE may withhold, reverse or cancel a reward, and may suspend the account, where it identifies self-referral, duplicate or fabricated identities, coordinated networks of accounts, synthetic or cancelled rides taken only to trigger a reward, manipulated devices or locations, or any circumvention of a configured limit. The rider is told the reason and may dispute it under the Dispute & Complaints Policy.
Reversal of a promotional benefit: where a ride that consumed promotional credit is refunded, the promotional element returns to the promotional balance with its original expiry date, and only the paid element is refunded — to the wallet by default, or to the original payment method where required or requested, in line with the Refund Policy.
Changes and withdrawal: SYIBE may change or end a campaign for the future at any time, with notice in the application. Credit already validly earned keeps the expiry and conditions that applied when it was earned; a campaign is only ended retroactively where it was procured by fraud or published in error, and the reason is given.
Account closure: promotional balances are extinguished when an account is closed or deleted and are not paid out; paid wallet balance is treated under the Payment & Wallet Terms and the Account Deletion Policy.
Marketing separation: taking part in a promotion does not by itself subscribe the rider to marketing messages; marketing consent is separate, opt-in and withdrawable under the Marketing Communications Consent.
Tax and reporting treatment of promotional credit and referral rewards follows applicable law. [REGULATORY CONFIRMATION REQUIRED]
